In this review, the Ceol Noir is applauded for its beautiful piano black finish, "oozing class and quality." But the praise does not just refer to its stylish appearence, this Denon favourite is awarded full marks for features, described as "absolutely rammed" with them.

In Tap's final verdict, the Ceol "tries to straddle the twin worlds of traditional hi-fi and network digital audio - with much success."
