The influential magazine christened the AVR-1910 its AV receiver "Product of the Year", while the AVR-2310 was declared the best AV receiver between £500 and £1000.
Judging the "sensational" £450 AVR-1910 What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision said: "Its emergence as undisputed champion is a remarkable feat and is all the more impressive when you consider that there´s no shortage of rival products around this price." It concluded that the machine, "makes for a frighteningly good all-rounder for the money".
Along with the Best Buy for the AVR-2310 and other Denon five star reviews from What Hi-Fi? Sound & Vision (taking in the AVP-A1HD, POA-A1HD and AVC-A1HDA), this award underlines the spectacular quality of the Denon 2009 AV receiver vintage.
Meanwhile, the dinky little D-M37DAB music maestro was crowned "Best Music System up to £400". With group test wins in Stuff and T3 already under its belt, this award crowned another successful year for the one-box wonder.
Richard Goodall, managing director of Denon UK, concluded, "These awards reaffirm the company's position as one of the world's top home cinema manufacturers, and certainly the AV receiver marque of choice. It is deserved recognition for Denon's continued investment in cutting-edge research and development".
