With 80W per channel (8 ohms, 20Hz-20kHz, THD: 0.08%, 2 ch. driven), this performance-tuned Denon AV receiver provides a truly immersive 3D audio experience. Supports Dolby Atmos®, Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization Technology, DTS:X® and DTS Virtual:X™. The AVR-X1700H also supports the latest video technologies such as 8K/60Hz and select 4K/120Hz pass-through on three dedicated inputs, Dolby Vision™, HDR10, HDR10+, Dynamic HDR, HLG, as well as 8K upscaling and HDCP 2.3 support on all HDMI inputs (6 in/1 out).
The front-panel USB offers convenient audio playback of MP3 and Hi-Res audio formats (WAV, FLAC, ALAC and DSD 2.8/5.6 MHz files).     The AVR-X1700H supports High Dynamic Range video format, HDR10, Dolby Vision and HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma). Dolby Vision transforms the viewing experiences with astonishing brightness, contrast, and color. HLG offers HDR technology over broadcast content for a crisper, cleaner image. The AVR-X1700H also supports HDR10+, which sends dynamic meta data to TV for more realistic images, as well as Dynamic HDR. (Some technologies are not available on all televisions.)

The included AVR-X1700H Quick Start Guide provides simple, clear instructions for how to get started. Switch between TV audio, Blu-ray, media players and more, and the AVR-X1700H adjusts the EQ settings to your preferences for that media source. Use the buttons on the front panel or opt for the same Quick Selects on the AV receiver remote for faster control. Now allows for one-push all zone stereo mode via Quick Select.
