Denon provides high-quality Hi-Fi System for new Peugeot 308

Nov 08, 2013

As you would expect, the new generation Peugeot 308 is also packed with the very latest of electronic driver aids: intelligent cruise control, collision warning system, parking sensors, and blind-spot monitoring. And according to anyone who has had the pleasure of test driving it, one of the best and most enjoyable of those surprises is the optional state-of-the-art Hi-Fi System, specially designed by Denon. No less than 25 dedicated Denon engineers, 34,000 hours development time, specialist sound tuning, and more than 100 in-depth technical meetings between Peugeot and Denon speak for themselves.

The new Hi-Fi System creates the typical Denon experience on the road: a powerful, natural and accurate sound. To break the spiral of larger and heavier systems requiring more power, a complete new set of high efficient and light-weight audio components was developed:

-        Soft-dome tweeters (25mm) with resonance chambers for minimal distortion; fully active steered in the front of the vehicle.

-        CosCone™ woofers (165mm) with high sensitivity and large excursion, but with low weight and minimised footprint to ensure stylish door-fitting

-        Subwoofer with 100W, integrated in the boot

-        Full digital Class D-amplifier with 8 channels, advanced road noise & distortion management, and speed-dependent equalization & volume.

There are also two choices of clever sound distributions, one aimed at the driver to deliver him and exceptional audiophile experience, while the other option provides audio enjoyment for all passengers, both in the front and the back. Checkwww.denon.eu/peugeot for more information.
